		<description>I agree that 960px, or something close, does reach a sweet spot. Fixed width layouts are often the best way to dictate your design intend. Liquid layouts are cool, and sometime the right solution, but my clients are almost always fine with a fixed width layout.

I appreciate the point you made about 960px being divisible so many common numbers, including 2 primes - 3 and 5. It&#039;s common to have a 3 common layout, and very pleasing to the eye.
